Roofing Foremen

The NRCA ProCertified Roofing Foreman certification is offered in English and Spanish and currently includes designations in thermoplastic systems and asphalt shingle systems.

For an overview of the Roofing Foreman program, refer to the Quick Start Guide for Roofing Foreman. For more detailed information, refer to the Roofing Foreman Handbook.

Ultimately, more than a dozen unique certifications will be available for all major roofing, waterproofing and rooftop photovoltaic system installations, plus roof system repair and maintenance. NRCA Qualified Assessors and Testing Locations support roofing industry certifications.

Certification Process

To be certified as a roofing foreman you must:

  1. Be eligible (see the Quick Start Guide for Roofing Foreman for details)

  2. Pass an online test given at a local approved testing center
